House of VGM is a venue for me to showcase remixes that I've done of various video game music. It started in 2007, and, after a few pauses and re-starts, is back in full swing with my ongoing, "Street Fighter: In The House" project.
I grew up on a hearty diet of house, hip-hop, jazz, and soul music. These musical genres greatly influence my own personal remixing style. As a musician, I appreciated music of ALL kinds, but the aforementioned ones are those that stir my soul.
I began producing music in 2002, when I was just 14 years old. I was just a kid in my dad's basement fooling around with buttons and DAWs and listened in wonderment as all that button and knob-tweaking somehow produced harmonious (and sometimes disharmonious) sounds that we know as "music." Now, almost a full decade later, I finally feel that I have grown enough in my confidence and in my skills as a musician and as a producer to showcase my work for the world to either love or hate.
